24. Carlos Marmol–CHC
25. John Axford–MIL]

Aroldis Chapman and Craig Kimbrel are basically 1 and 1a. Both are just absolutely dominate and lights out. You already know that though. The fact that they both strikeout batters at such a high rate (especially Chapman) will make him a tempting early pick next year even though he’s a closer.

It’s amazing that Fernando Rodney has saved 39… 39 GAMES! Unbelievable. His ERA is 0.77. He’s getting a nice contract this offseason.

Tom Wilhelmsen has settled in nicely as the Mariners closer and has done a great job. It doesn’t hurt that the M’s just keep on winning. He’s a solid option the rest of the way.

Grab Grant Balfour if he’s available in your league. He’s given up 1 ER since July 1st and should garner plenty of saves for the contending A’s.

If you own Carlos Marmol or John Axford, I really hope you desperately need saves. Neither are favorites of mine!

Thanks for reading and following along on Twitter. Once again, I hope you enjoyed the Rest of Season Rankings. That will be it for Rankings for the 2012 season, but I will have super early 2013 Rankings out sometime in October or November. If you found me by accident, click below to follow me on Twitter!
