Prince Fielder takes my top spot because he’s so consistent and you know you can count on him. Sure, the home runs are down, but everything else looks real nice. I put Freddie Freeman and Paul Goldschmidt rather high, but they’re both producing and I think they’ll continue to do so.

Paul Konerko is one spot higher than Joey Votto because he could return this coming weekend. Votto is more than likely out until the beginning of September. If you’re looking for a guy to plug in at your Corner Infield spot, you could do A LOT worse than Garrett Jones.

I feel like Ike Davis will be slightly better down the stretch than Eric Homser, but I’ve all but chalked up a lost season up for both players.

Carlos Lee won’t kill your average, but he won’t do much else. Brett Wallace is somewhat intriguing as he should be playing everyday from here on out. I’d take a flyer on him.

Casey Kotchman is, well, terrible. I’m sure you already knew that.
