24. James Loney, Dodgers
25. Justin Smoak, Mariners

I left Adrian Gonzalez at the top of my list. He’s in such a good lineup and he’s batting .356 with 90 RBIs. He should hold the top spot for the remainder of the season. There was no change until Lance Berkman moved up to number eight from number 11 in July. As you probably know by now, I’m a big Michael Morse fan, so he moved up a spot to 12. Also rising is Freddie Freeman, Mitch Moreland, and Casey Kotchman.

I like Carlos Pena for power, but not much else. His home runs come in bunches and he hasn’t been hot for a few weeks. That being said, he’ll probably start hitting homers soon so keep an eye on him. Brett Wallace was optioned to AAA, so he’s no longer on the list. Justin Smoak hasn’t hit much of anything lately, so he’ll take the last spot.

  1. Josh says:

Morse just keeps justifying your belief in him. I don’t understand why Trumbo is so low on the list, even below Carlos Lee? And Derrek Lee’s looking better too.

  2. Derrek Lee should be decent from here on out. Usually a good 2nd half player. Trumbo/Lee could swap spots really. Trumbo has good pop, but his… at the second I am typing this he just hit a 3 run HR. I think I’m going to change that right now…
